A Trade Odyssey
15 January, 2026
I directed, produced, filmed, edited and starred in this narrative, sci-fi short film for a Business Professionals of America Video Production Team competition. The prompt was for us to create a 3-5 minute video highlighting career paths in the trades. We took an approach that showcased a person from the future experiencing technical difficulties with a TV, and traveling back to the past to understand how trade careers could help someone like him fix his device. Along the way, our main character learned many more information about trade jobs and what makes them a good option for many.
